Because of her experiences, mental anguish, stigmas, and financial hardships; endured by women and their families affected by the prison system, Founder ShaWanda Manuel envisioned a business to assist justice-impacted families with the essential resources to help support the entire family composition.
ShaWanda is proof that these connections provide opportunities for each family member to interact and strengthen family ties; while contributing to personal development, financial assistance, tangible resources, and services necessary to restore pride and lessen the chances of recidivism.
